Kauan Rezende received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Froilan Dolcet tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 34th match minute, Ibirama Futebol Clube was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Natã Sena to maneuver through the defense. Jeferson Mandrak really showed his touch with that goal: 2-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Jeferson Mandrak managed to get in a good position for a shot. Castanheiro SC's supporters rose to their feet, but Jeferson Mandrak was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Oséias Severo might have been able to make a better finish in the 55th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Pedrinho Guimarães. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Oséias Severo ran back to his position shaking his head. 55 minutes into the match, Castanheiro SC's goalkeeper Pedrinho Guimarães had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Túlio Geniatulin. Froilan Dolcet took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jeferson Mandrak, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With his leg Pedrinho Guimarães managed to avoid a goal in the 66thth minute, when Ibirama Futebol Clube's Túlio Geniatulin fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side.
