In the 23rd match minute, Ibirama Futebol Clube was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Natã Sena to maneuver through the defense. Túlio Geniatulin who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 25thth minute tested the skills of Duda Soeiro when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Duda Soeiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joaquim Félix, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. After a rather tough play, Aesir FC FSCMZ's Carlos Fernando de Lara got a free kick in the 30th minute. Túlio Geniatulin in the 33rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Duda Soeiro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Túlio Geniatulin's shot from short distance in the 63rd minute. 64 minutes into the game, Teodoro Santana was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ibirama Futebol Clube's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Aesir FC FSCMZ the free kick. When Carlos Fernando de Lara came up free with the goalie in the 78th minute, the Aesir FC FSCMZ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Carlos Fernando de Lara couldn't finish the play. Osmar Marinho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Froilan Dolcet having to interfere. Osmar Marinho struck a weak shot in the 84th minute. Froilan Dolcet didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Aesir FC FSCMZ.
