Christiano Arce made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. 21 minutes into the match, Cléber da Costa notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of E.C.MUKY JOINVILLE's Jorge Furtado. Jorge Furtado was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vinicio Balasi in the 26th minute of play forced SORRISO E. C.'s goalkeeper Christiano Arce to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 29 minutes into the match, E.C.MUKY JOINVILLE's goalkeeper Jorge Furtado had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cléber da Costa. Christiano Arce didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Juninho Eger went, in the 31st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. Diguinho Gaúcho took the ball and in the 40 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jorge Furtado. Jorge Furtado dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. Gustavo Romero struck a weak shot in the 43rd minute. Jorge Furtado didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SORRISO E. C.. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

SORRISO E. C.'s Diguinho Gaúcho got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. John Gallin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 71st minute Diguinho Gaúcho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jorge Furtado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 72 minutes into the match, E.C.MUKY JOINVILLE's goal looked a bit too open when Cléber da Costa came free, but Jorge Furtado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Doni Velloso made in the 76th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by E.C.MUKY JOINVILLE's John Gallin. Rafinha Custódio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Christiano Arce having to interfere. With a little luck, SORRISO E. C.'s Christiano Arce got control of the ball when Rafinha Custódio tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 85 minutes of play, E.C.MUKY JOINVILLE's Rafinha Custódio made it 2-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Christiano Arce was left in no man's land by his defense there! The E.C.MUKY JOINVILLE players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
