When Pedro Luís Paranaense came up free with the goalie in the 4th minute, the Club Sacode Football CIMZ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pedro Luís Paranaense couldn't finish the play. Amadeo Rufo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aldair Code, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aldair Code in the 22nd minute of play forced Nova Erechim - FSCMZ's goalkeeper Amadeo Rufo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Amadeo Rufo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aldair Code in the 22nd minute of play. Amadeo Rufo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Oscar Rossi in the 26th minute of play. In the 36th minute, Pedro Luís Paranaense ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Amadeo Rufo was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. When Oscar Rossi came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the Club Sacode Football CIMZ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Oscar Rossi couldn't finish the play. After 46 minutes, Edin Džeko mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Nova Erechim - FSCMZ and the Club Sacode Football CIMZ players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 46 played minutes Nova Erechim - FSCMZ got a freekick which was hit by Edin Džeko.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Edin Džeko was the one to do the kick off. In the 51st minute, Club Sacode Football CIMZ's Aldair Code dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-2. If Edin Džeko had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vito Cardozo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Guilherme Peres went, in the 55th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. Amadeo Rufo came out of the goal in the 63rd minute to try and stop a shot by Club Sacode Football CIMZ's Pedro Luís Paranaense. But to his dismay, Pedro Luís Paranaense quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. Amadeo Rufo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aldair Code in the 66th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Oscar Rossi in the 67th minute of play forced Nova Erechim - FSCMZ's goalkeeper Amadeo Rufo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 71 minutes into the match, Guilherme Peres had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Vito Cardozo. Club Sacode Football CIMZ's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Guilherme Peres was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-3. A collision led to Nova Erechim - FSCMZ getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Edin Džeko hit a great ball. In the 77th minute, Marvin Granados hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 80th minute Guilherme Peres shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vito Cardozo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nova Erechim - FSCMZ's Amadeo Rufo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 82nd minute of the match, managed to save Nova Erechim - FSCMZ from getting a goal against them. Vito Cardozo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edin Džeko in the 84th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Nova Erechim - FSCMZ's João Miranda got a free kick in the 87th minute. Chiquinho Zonta took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 88th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Amadeo Rufo. Nova Erechim - FSCMZ's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Válter Souto lost his temper 90 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. After 89 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Club Sacode Football CIMZ! Club Sacode Football CIMZ:s Vito Cardozo showed great skill when he stopped Guilherme Peres:s penalty. After a defensive mix-up in Club Sacode Football CIMZ's zone, Edin Džeko stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vito Cardozo came out of the goal and Edin Džeko tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 97 minutes into the match, Club Sacode Football CIMZ's Aldair Code sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Amadeo Rufo narrowly saved just below the crossbar.
