The supporters of Ibirama Futebol Clube booed when Jurassic Monsters SA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. When Ibirama Futebol Clube's Túlio Geniatulin in the 12th minute got a chance for a shot 12th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Túlio Geniatulin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 44th minute of the match, but Denílson Azevedo made a huge save. Denílson Azevedo was out of position in the 45 minute of play, and Joaquim Félix capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Joaquim Félix really showed his touch with that goal: 3-1. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-1.

In the 83rd minute, Valdo Macedo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Froilan Dolcet made an important save on a dangerous shot by Anderson Carioca in the 85th minute. After 86 played minutes Jurassic Monsters SA got a freekick which was hit by Aírton Bezerra. In the 89th minute Joaquim Félix shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Denílson Azevedo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
