Jeremias Lima kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. Pedrinho Guimarães showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from David Berger in the 7th minute of the match. Jeferson Mandrak received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Vito Cardozo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Pedrinho Guimarães made a fantastic save in the 17th minute, when Aldair Code sent off a good shot on target. When the match clock showed 20 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Kauan Rezende sped through Club Sacode Football CIMZ's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Vito Cardozo. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Hélder Madureira during the 22nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Castanheiro SC getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Hélder Madureira hit a great ball. With a little luck, Castanheiro SC's Pedrinho Guimarães got control of the ball when Pedro Luís Paranaense tried to sneak it across the goal line. Túlio Aparecido hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. 33 minutes into the match, Castanheiro SC's goalkeeper Pedrinho Guimarães had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Aldair Code. With a little luck, Castanheiro SC's Pedrinho Guimarães got control of the ball when Aldair Code tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 36 played minutes Castanheiro SC got a freekick which was hit by Túlio Aparecido. Castanheiro SC's Pedrinho Guimarães proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 42nd minute of the match, managed to save Castanheiro SC from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, Castanheiro SC's Célio Pena got a free kick in the 46th minute. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Aldair Code to strike the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Castanheiro SC's Hélder Madureira got a free kick in the 51st minute. Aldair Code hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. In the 54th minute Pedro Luís Paranaense shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedrinho Guimarães saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Leonardo Trancoso recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Pedrinho Guimarães made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from David Berger in the 60th minute of play. Pedrinho Guimarães took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from David Berger, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 63 minutes, Aldair Code managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Club Sacode Football CIMZ's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aldair Code was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 68th minute, Club Sacode Football CIMZ's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Leonardo Trancoso fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. After some fancy dribbling in the 79th minute, Pedro Luís Paranaense managed to get in a good position for a shot. Club Sacode Football CIMZ's supporters rose to their feet, but Pedro Luís Paranaense was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pedrinho Guimarães breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Aldair Code fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pedrinho Guimarães having to interfere. Vito Cardozo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Kauan Rezende's shot from short distance in the 85th minute. In the 94th match minute, Club Sacode Football CIMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jeremias Lima to maneuver through the defense. When Célio Pena came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the Castanheiro SC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Célio Pena couldn't finish the play. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Club Sacode Football CIMZ players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
