Nelson Jesus showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Thiago Machado in the 34th minute of the match. Diguinho Souza received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Alvaro Rudolfo came out and tried to block the shot, but Diguinho Souza slotted it home off the left post making it 2-1 in the 35th minute. Atlético da Colina's Nelson Jesus played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marquez Padolles in the 41st minute of play. In the 45th minute Evaristo Montenegro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nelson Jesus saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.
