In the 21st minute, Katarínus Orange ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Froilan Dolcet was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. A collision led to Laranja Mecânica FSCMZ getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Falcão Orange hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joaquim Félix in the 25th minute of play forced Laranja Mecânica FSCMZ's goalkeeper Edinho Pirani to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 30th minute, Katarínus Orange ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Froilan Dolcet was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. Katarínus Orange sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Disappointed in the 0-5 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Katarínus Orange who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 68thth minute tested the skills of Froilan Dolcet when he managed to save the team from getting behind. When Katarínus Orange fell near the penalty area in the 69th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Laranja Mecânica FSCMZ's protests and gave Katarínus Orange a yellow card for diving instead. After 69 played minutes Laranja Mecânica FSCMZ got a freekick which was hit by Katarínus Orange. The supporters of Ibirama Futebol Clube booed when Laranja Mecânica FSCMZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dedé Quirino didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Túlio Geniatulin in the 74th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Edinho Pirani saved Laranja Mecânica FSCMZ from getting behind. Katarínus Orange sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. In the 84th minute, Túlio Geniatulin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Edinho Pirani made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joaquim Félix in the 86th minute of play. In the 89th match minute, Laranja Mecânica FSCMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Juan Orange to maneuver through the defense. Edinho Pirani showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Agostinho Cabral in the 93rd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joaquim Félix in the 95th minute of play forced Laranja Mecânica FSCMZ's goalkeeper Edinho Pirani to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Although Ibirama Futebol Clube had been in control for most of the match, Laranja Mecânica FSCMZ still came away with the win.
