Jeferson Mandrak struck a weak shot in the 4th minute. Froilan Dolcet didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Castanheiro SC. Jeferson Mandrak kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. 8 minutes into the match, Ibirama Futebol Clube's goal looked a bit too open when Kauan Rezende came free, but Froilan Dolcet reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pedrinho Guimarães made an important save on a dangerous shot by Túlio Geniatulin in the 12th minute. The corner led Ibirama Futebol Clube's Agostinho Cabral to fire away a dangerous shot which Pedrinho Guimarães despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Froilan Dolcet made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leonardo Trancoso in the 15th minute of play. 16 minutes into the match, Castanheiro SC's goal looked a bit too open when Joaquim Félix came free, but Pedrinho Guimarães reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 24 minutes into the match, Castanheiro SC's goal looked a bit too open when Oséias Severo came free, but Pedrinho Guimarães reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jeferson Mandrak took the ball and in the 27 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Froilan Dolcet. Froilan Dolcet dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. 30 minutes into the match, Ibirama Futebol Clube's goal looked a bit too open when Kauan Rezende came free, but Froilan Dolcet reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Ibirama Futebol Clube's Natã Sena got a free kick in the 39th minute. Castanheiro SC's Célio Pena couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 40th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Ibirama Futebol Clube. Eliézer da Silveira kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Túlio Geniatulin to make the kick off. Kauan Rezende could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 51st minute of the match, but Froilan Dolcet made a huge save. The supporters of Castanheiro SC booed when Ibirama Futebol Clube was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adhemar Guedes didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 58th minute, Célio Pena sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Ibirama Futebol Clube's Froilan Dolcet didn't even have to move. After a rather tough play, Ibirama Futebol Clube's Maurinho de Mendonça got a free kick in the 59th minute. A hard shot 61 in the game by Kauan Rezende from a close distance when the talented Froilan Dolcet managed to make a qualified save. Ibirama Futebol Clube's players were relieved. In the 62nd minute Túlio Geniatulin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedrinho Guimarães saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pedrinho Guimarães took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joaquim Félix, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Oséias Severo kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. Froilan Dolcet made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jeferson Mandrak in the 69th minute of play. Pedrinho Guimarães came out of the goal in the 72nd minute to try and stop a shot by Ibirama Futebol Clube's Túlio Geniatulin. But to his dismay, Túlio Geniatulin quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Agostinho Cabral in the 75th minute of play forced Castanheiro SC's goalkeeper Pedrinho Guimarães to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Castanheiro SC getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Jeferson Mandrak hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joaquim Félix in the 79th minute of play forced Castanheiro SC's goalkeeper Pedrinho Guimarães to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 81 minutes into the match, Ibirama Futebol Clube's goal looked a bit too open when Jeferson Mandrak came free, but Froilan Dolcet reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 83 minutes Ibirama Futebol Clube's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Célio Pena who took care of the corner kick. A well-hit corner resulted in Leonardo Trancoso heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Castanheiro SC's Pedrinho Guimarães played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Túlio Geniatulin in the 85th minute of play. Pedrinho Guimarães showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Túlio Geniatulin in the 87th minute of the match. Pedrinho Guimarães made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Agostinho Cabral in the 88th minute of play. After having played for 89 minutes, Kauan Rezende managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Castanheiro SC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kauan Rezende was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 91st minute Agostinho Cabral shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedrinho Guimarães saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Ibirama Futebol Clube's zone, Kauan Rezende stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Froilan Dolcet came out of the goal and Kauan Rezende tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Chants of Castanheiro SC echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as Ibirama Futebol Clube had held the ball for most of the match.
