Denílson Azevedo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. If Délio Araújo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Denílson Azevedo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carlos Fernando de Lara in the 21st minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 25th minute, Délio Araújo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Aesir FC FSCMZ's supporters rose to their feet, but Délio Araújo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Denílson Azevedo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Igor Porto charged in rather forcefully in the 26th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Igor Porto the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Aesir FC FSCMZ's Igor Porto got a free kick in the 27th minute. 28 minutes into the match, Aesir FC FSCMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Luiz Mendes came free, but Duda Soeiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Osmar Marinho in the 30th minute of play forced Jurassic Monsters SA's goalkeeper Denílson Azevedo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 31 minutes into the match, Aesir FC FSCMZ's Délio Araújo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Denílson Azevedo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The referee ignored Aesir FC FSCMZ's protests and gave Moisés Senna a yellow card for diving instead. Duda Soeiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luiz Mendes, who was totally free with the ball in the 48th minute. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Guga Paes stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Délio Araújo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Denílson Azevedo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Osmar Marinho, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. A collision led to Jurassic Monsters SA getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Guga Paes hit a great ball. Dorian Silveira charged in rather forcefully in the 60th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dorian Silveira the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Jurassic Monsters SA's Dorian Silveira got a free kick in the 60th minute. Denílson Azevedo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Carlos Fernando de Lara in the 68th minute. Jurassic Monsters SA's Denílson Azevedo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 79th minute of the match, managed to save Jurassic Monsters SA from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, Aesir FC FSCMZ's Igor Porto got a free kick in the 83rd minute. The supporters of Aesir FC FSCMZ booed when Jurassic Monsters SA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dorian Silveira didn't get a good kick on the ball. Délio Araújo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 91 minutes, Denílson Cunha managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Aesir FC FSCMZ's supporters crossed their fingers, but Denílson Cunha was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Délio Araújo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 97th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the match was over Aesir FC FSCMZ could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Jurassic Monsters SA throughout the match.
