An unexpectedly hard shot by Luiz Fabiano Orange in the 9th minute of play forced Joinville Esporte Clube's goalkeeper Eriberto Leão to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eriberto Leão made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Katarínus Orange in the 10th minute of play. When Katarínus Orange came up free with the goalie in the 13th minute, the Laranja Mecânica FSCMZ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Katarínus Orange couldn't finish the play. 15 minutes into the match, Joinville Esporte Clube's goal looked a bit too open when Dedé Quirino came free, but Eriberto Leão reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eriberto Leão took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Katarínus Orange, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Luiz Fabiano Orange's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Eriberto Leão was relentless in the 18th minute of the game. If Dorian do Nascimento had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Zé Joinvilense could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 29th minute of the match, but Edinho Pirani made a huge save. Juan Orange fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eriberto Leão having to interfere. Eriberto Leão made an important save on a dangerous shot by Luiz Fabiano Orange in the 59th minute. In the 60th minute, Katarínus Orange got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 62nd minute Katarínus Orange shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eriberto Leão saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 64th minute, Katarínus Orange made a precise shot to the right of Eriberto Leão. Joinville Esporte Clube's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. In the 68th minute Katarínus Orange shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eriberto Leão saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 79 minutes, Célio Mangueira mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Joinville Esporte Clube and the Laranja Mecânica FSCMZ players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a defensive mix-up in Joinville Esporte Clube's zone, Katarínus Orange stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eriberto Leão came out of the goal and Katarínus Orange tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Benê de Azevedo kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. 83 minutes into the match, Joinville Esporte Clube's goalkeeper Eriberto Leão had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Aldair Orange. Dorian do Nascimento received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Edinho Pirani tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Edinho Pirani made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dorian do Nascimento in the 87th minute of play. Célio Mangueira hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. The long shot by Aldair Orange in the 91st minute really tested Eriberto Leão's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Katarínus Orange's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Eriberto Leão read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 94th minute of play.
