The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When John Gallin came up free with the goalie in the 8th minute, the E.C.MUKY JOINVILLE fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that John Gallin couldn't finish the play. Juninho Eger kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. 16 minutes into the match, E.C.MUKY JOINVILLE's goal looked a bit too open when Gustavo Romero came free, but Jorge Furtado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cléber da Costa hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. In the 23rd minute of the match, Rafinha Custódio tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Christiano Arce saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. SORRISO E. C.'s Diguinho Gaúcho got a good chance for a goal in the 25th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 29th minute Hüsnü Saltuk shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jorge Furtado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Rafinha Custódio to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute Juninho Eger shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Christiano Arce saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to E.C.MUKY JOINVILLE getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Juninho Eger hit a great ball. John Gallin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Christiano Arce having to interfere. In the 58th match minute, E.C.MUKY JOINVILLE was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vinicio Balasi to maneuver through the defense. César Salgado hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, E.C.MUKY JOINVILLE's Juninho Eger got a free kick in the 83rd minute. C. echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as E.C.MUKY JOINVILLE had held the ball for most of the match.
