In the 5th minute Basílio Silveira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alvaro Rudolfo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 7 minutes, Marquez Padolles made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. Jacuitiba - FSCMZ's Mastur Bandov tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Thiago Machado recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Mastur Bandov was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Jacuitiba - FSCMZ's Mastur Bandov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carlos Eduardo Dracena in the 32nd minute of play. Mastur Bandov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marquez Padolles in the 34th minute of play. Jacuitiba - FSCMZ were awarded a corner in the 39th minute after Coritiba Foot Ball Club's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Kiko de Queirós took the corner. The corner ended in Kiko de Queirós almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Coritiba Foot Ball Club's Alvaro Rudolfo did a great save. Alvaro Rudolfo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Basílio Silveira in the 48th minute of the match. The score stood at 2-2 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when Thiago Machado made the kick off in the second half. Jacuitiba - FSCMZ's Mastur Bandov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Thiago Machado in the 73rd minute of play. Coritiba Foot Ball Club were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
