In the 3rd minute, Waldemar Guimarães hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Josué Viana received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Pedrinho Guimarães tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Castanheiro SC's Pedrinho Guimarães played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rafinha Custódio in the 13th minute of play. John Gallin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Juninho Eger charged in rather forcefully in the 17th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Juninho Eger the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 17 played minutes E.C.MUKY JOINVILLE got a freekick which was hit by Juninho Eger. 19 minutes into the match, E.C.MUKY JOINVILLE's Rafinha Custódio sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Pedrinho Guimarães narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 21st minute, Rafinha Custódio managed to get in a good position for a shot. E.C.MUKY JOINVILLE's supporters rose to their feet, but Rafinha Custódio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pedrinho Guimarães breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 25th minute the ball was on its way in behind Castanheiro SC's goalkeeper Pedrinho Guimarães, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 27th match minute, Castanheiro SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Richard Martins to maneuver through the defense. Pedrinho Guimarães made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lin Yan Liang in the 28th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rafinha Custódio in the 34th minute of play forced Castanheiro SC's goalkeeper Pedrinho Guimarães to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Galip Özbekkan kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rafinha Custódio in the 43rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Pedrinho Guimarães prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Richard Martins got his second yellow card in the match during the 45th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground.

In the 52nd minute Rafinha Custódio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedrinho Guimarães saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to E.C.MUKY JOINVILLE getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Ruy Melo hit a great ball. In the 68th match minute, Castanheiro SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Célio Pena to maneuver through the defense. E.C.MUKY JOINVILLE's Jorge Furtado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eliézer da Silveira in the 70th minute of play. Pedrinho Guimarães took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rafinha Custódio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. E.C.MUKY JOINVILLE were awarded a corner in the 74th minute after Castanheiro SC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Eduardo Langarica took the corner. Rafinha Custódio's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Pedrinho Guimarães read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 79th minute of play. Castanheiro SC's Pedrinho Guimarães played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rafinha Custódio in the 92nd minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Lin Yan Liang during the 94th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 94 played minutes E.C.MUKY JOINVILLE got a freekick which was hit by Lin Yan Liang. Jorge Furtado was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 95th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Célio Pena. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
