Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Martín Palermo got the match started through his kick off. 7 minutes into the match, Facundo Cadaval notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Metal Juniors's Daniel Păvăloae. Daniel Păvăloae was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Dante Lacasa made a fantastic save in the 10th minute, when Sergio Dennis sent off a good shot on target. 12 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when Reinaldo Castro came free, but Dante Lacasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 12th minute, Antonio Eyague hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Luca Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Daniel Păvăloae tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Metal Juniors's Daniel Păvăloae played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luca Zorita in the 20th minute of play. 20 minutes into the match, Luca Zorita notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Metal Juniors's Daniel Păvăloae. Daniel Păvăloae was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Sergio Dennis could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 24th minute of the match, but Dante Lacasa made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Martín Palermo in the 26th minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Daniel Păvăloae took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joel Gaona, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 31st minute Martín Palermo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Lacasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 32 minutes into the match, Mexico's Joel Gaona sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Daniel Păvăloae narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 40th match minute, Metal Juniors was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Haroldo Phelipe to maneuver through the defense. 42 minutes into the match, Metal Juniors's goal looked a bit too open when Joel Gaona came free, but Daniel Păvăloae reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Metal Juniors's Daniel Păvăloae played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joel Gaona in the 44th minute of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Joel Gaona to strike the kick off in the second half. Daniel Păvăloae took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joel Gaona, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 51st minute Joel Gaona shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Daniel Păvăloae saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Daniel Păvăloae showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joel Gaona in the 51st minute of the match. It was a well-played corner which Luca Zorita managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Martín Palermo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Dante Lacasa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Metal Juniors's Eloy Gaufred was substituted for Sergio Dennis. In the 63rd minute Mexico were awarded a corner. Joel Gaona went to the cornerflag to take it. A very nice done corner allowed Lautaro Mancebo to score against Daniel Păvăloae in Metal Juniors's goal. 0-3 after 64 minutes. Daniel Păvăloae showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luca Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. Lautaro Mancebo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 73rd minute of the match, but Daniel Păvăloae made a huge save. 78 minutes into the match, Metal Juniors's goal looked a bit too open when Joel Gaona came free, but Daniel Păvăloae reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 82nd minute, Mexico's Lautaro Mancebo ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Daniel Păvăloae. Daniel Păvăloae yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-4. With an all-out effort, Mexico's Daniel Păvăloae threw himself towards the right post 89 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Joel Gaona, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Mexico were awarded a corner in the 90th minute after Metal Juniors's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Joel Gaona took the corner. Haroldo Nayely tried to clear up in front of the goal, but didn't succeed and rather the ball rolled into the own goal to the right of a despaired Daniel Păvăloae. An unnecessary self made goal, 0-5 in the 90th minute. If Eloy Gaufred had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Facundo Cadaval kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. When the final whistle sounded Mexico left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Metal Juniors.
