Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) Costa Rica's Axel Tasis started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Axel Tasis kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. In the 6th minute of the match, Nikola Ribić tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Benito Sanz saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Nikola Ribić succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-0 in the 6th playminute. APOELHELLAS's attentive Koronis Kutras managed to snatch the ball when Efrain Moruga made a throw-in in the 14th minute of the game. APOELHELLAS's attentive Alkeides Avgerinos managed to snatch the ball when Hugo Ferrant made a throw-in in the 15th minute of the game. A throw-in in the 17th minute of the game was made by Alan Moruga with Aaron Alcocer as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Juan Rubio got a throw-in 20 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Eliseo Noboa. In the 25thth minute of the game Axel Tasis who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but APOELHELLAS's Tobias Øverland was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Nikola Ribić blasted a shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Benito Sanz having to make a save. Daidalos Karabatsos's late challenge caught a Costa Rica's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Daidalos Karabatsos helped the player get up and apologised. After 33 played minutes APOELHELLAS got a freekick which was hit by Daidalos Karabatsos. If Lautaro Puig had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nikola Ribić blasted a shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Benito Sanz having to make a save. 39 minutes into the game, Efrain Moruga threw the ball into play from the sideline. APOELHELLAS's Anton Hylander quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. After having played for 46 minutes, Alkeides Avgerinos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. APOELHELLAS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alkeides Avgerinos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Nikola Ribić made a kick off. 60 minutes into the game, APOELHELLAS's Aglauros Sakellariou nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Benito Sanz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. If Nikola Ribić had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Lautaro Puig sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. APOELHELLAS's Alkeides Avgerinos quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Nikola Ribić sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. APOELHELLAS's Tobias Øverland proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 76th minute of the match, managed to save APOELHELLAS from getting a goal against them. APOELHELLAS's Alkeides Avgerinos quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Hugo Ferrant, made in the 80th minute of the game. The throw-in from Lautaro Puig in the 81st minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by APOELHELLAS's Alkeides Avgerinos. Nikola Ribić received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Benito Sanz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Costa Rica's Eliseo Noboa got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Lautaro Puig recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A sloppy throw-in by Lautaro Puig in the 92nd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by APOELHELLAS's Alkeides Avgerinos. APOELHELLAS's Alkeides Avgerinos managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Lautaro Puig in the 93 minute of the game. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. APOELHELLAS fully deserved thier win.
