The audience was convinced that Beniamin Zywiec's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Vaclovas Jurkus was relentless in the 18th minute of the game. Arūnas Murza's late challenge caught a KKS Magines's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. In the 30th minute, Arūnas Murza got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of KKS Magines booed when Absoliut was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aras Kadys didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 39 minutes of play Absoliut's Arūnas Murza was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Arūnas Murza kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. In the 41st minute Witold Chodzinski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vaclovas Jurkus saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vaclovas Jurkus showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Beniamin Zywiec, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. The audience was convinced that Zigmantas Norkevičius's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Waldemar Robak was relentless in the 46th minute of the game.

After 52 played minutes Absoliut got a freekick which was hit by Albinas Vaitiekus. Vaclovas Jurkus made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Grzegorz Michnik in the 53rd minute of play. 55 minutes into the match, Absoliut's goal looked a bit too open when Grzegorz Michnik came free, but Vaclovas Jurkus reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Absoliut's Vaclovas Jurkus played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Witold Chodzinski in the 57th minute of play. Waldemar Robak dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Waldemar Robak stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Zigmantas Norkevičius's shot from short distance in the 81st minute. In the 82nd minute, Albinas Vaitiekus hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Zigmantas Norkevičius fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Waldemar Robak having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zigmantas Norkevičius in the 86th minute of play forced KKS Magines's goalkeeper Waldemar Robak to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Waldemar Robak was a little too slow when Zigmantas Norkevičius got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 92nd minute. The score was now 0-3. In the 95th minute, Valdas Ivanauskas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.

The Absoliut players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
