Yan Fossati took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edoardo Corna, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Fc Molina di Quosa's Pavel Lukšík got a free kick in the 16th minute. 18 minutes into the match, Brütten's goal looked a bit too open when Pavel Lukšík came free, but Yan Fossati reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 21 minutes into the match, Fc Molina di Quosa's goal looked a bit too open when Clint Paly came free, but Rolf Skarsø reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 25 minutes into the match, Fc Molina di Quosa's Edoardo Corna sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Yan Fossati narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Clint Paly made a great header on Brütten's corner, it was just that Fc Molina di Quosa's Rolf Skarsø managed to reach the ball for a save. 29 minutes had been played when some careless play by Fc Molina di Quosa's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Alexander Bettinelli was slow to take the kick. During this time Brütten's players had a chance to rest. Brütten's Alexander Bettinelli was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Rolf Skarsø in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. When the match had gone on for 34 minutes, Clint Paly took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Rolf Skarsø to make any attempt to save it.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Edward Zbytniewski to make the kick off. In the 52nd minute, Jacek Báča hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Brütten's zone, Edoardo Corna stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Yan Fossati came out of the goal and Edoardo Corna tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 67th minute, Edoardo Corna managed to get in a good position for a shot. Fc Molina di Quosa's supporters rose to their feet, but Edoardo Corna was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Yan Fossati breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in Fc Molina di Quosa's zone, Edward Zbytniewski stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rolf Skarsø came out of the goal and Edward Zbytniewski tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Yan Fossati didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Pavel Lukšík went, in the 74th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Fc Molina di Quosa's Rolf Skarsø played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Clint Paly in the 82nd minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Edoardo Corna got free with Yan Fossati in the 84th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Rolf Skarsø showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Clint Paly, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alberto Hofstetter in the 88th minute of play forced Fc Molina di Quosa's goalkeeper Rolf Skarsø to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 91 minutes into the match, Edward Zbytniewski notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Fc Molina di Quosa's Rolf Skarsø. Rolf Skarsø was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 94 minutes into the match, Augustin Heinzmann had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Rolf Skarsø. Fc Molina di Quosa's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Augustin Heinzmann was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. Brütten walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
