In the 9th minute Jairo Valery shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jan Pihlberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mihail Pânzaru in the 13th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jan Pihlberg saved Preator Edikt from getting behind. 20 minutes into the match, Horia Tătaru notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Pegaso's Loren Prats. Loren Prats was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Through an outstanding action, after 25 minutes, Jan Pihlberg successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Loren Prats took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Horia Tătaru, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 29th minute, Efren Dobale hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alfred Zbikowski might have been able to make a better finish in the 32nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jan Pihlberg. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Alfred Zbikowski ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 37th minute Mihail Pânzaru shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jan Pihlberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Preator Edikt's Jan Pihlberg proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 40th minute of the match, managed to save Preator Edikt from getting a goal against them. In the 43rd minute of the match Pegaso got a corner. Preator Edikt's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Amador Vachon ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 47th minute, Ashley Cole hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Mihail Pânzaru stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, Pegaso's goalkeeper Loren Prats had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Stig-Ove Blomqvist. 54 minutes into the match, Preator Edikt's goal looked a bit too open when Mihail Pânzaru came free, but Jan Pihlberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kenneth Björnberg made in the 59th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Pegaso's Delmar Tabor. Loren Prats showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stig-Ove Blomqvist in the 61st minute of the match. 62 minutes into the match, Pegaso's goal looked a bit too open when Stig-Ove Blomqvist came free, but Loren Prats reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pegaso's Loren Prats proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 64th minute of the match, managed to save Pegaso from getting a goal against them. Jan Pihlberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jairo Valery in the 67th minute of the match. Pegaso's Joaquin Havier was substituted for Mihail Pânzaru. The corner ended in Luís Gustavo Barbosa almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Pegaso's Loren Prats did a great save. In the 74th minute Joaquin Havier shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jan Pihlberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alfred Zbikowski struck a weak shot in the 78th minute. Jan Pihlberg didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pegaso. In the 80th match minute, Preator Edikt was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luís Gustavo Barbosa to maneuver through the defense. Preator Edikt's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
