In the 8thth minute of the game Honorio Cerra who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Liverpool Fans's Ruben Wilza was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Nilmar Marinho took the ball and in the 10 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ruben Wilza. Liverpool Fans's Ruben Wilza played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Honorio Cerra in the 16th minute of play. In the 16th minute Honorio Cerra shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ruben Wilza saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 16 played minutes Liverpool Fans got a freekick which was hit by Godfredo Mel. Filip Bochinski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Chivos de Punto Fijo's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Filip Bochinski in the 25th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Honorio Cerra in the 28th minute of play forced Liverpool Fans's goalkeeper Ruben Wilza to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 29th minute Filip Bochinski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ruben Wilza saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 30 minutes into the match, Edmundo Terra had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dani Hernández. Chivos de Punto Fijo's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Edmundo Terra was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. When Filip Bochinski came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the Chivos de Punto Fijo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Filip Bochinski couldn't finish the play. 42 minutes into the match, Chivos de Punto Fijo's goal looked a bit too open when Velichko Rakadzhiev came free, but Dani Hernández reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 44 minutes had been played when some careless play by Chivos de Punto Fijo's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Godfredo Mel was slow to take the kick. During this time Liverpool Fans's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Edmundo Terra got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Dani Hernández quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

After 50 played minutes Liverpool Fans got a freekick which was hit by Velichko Rakadzhiev. Dani Hernández showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edmundo Terra in the 53rd minute of the match. After some careless play in the Chivos de Punto Fijo defense, Legimin Sagala kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dani Hernández. The Chivos de Punto Fijo fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dani Hernández should have stopped the shot. Ruben Wilza stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gaston Botinos's shot from short distance in the 74th minute. With a little luck, Liverpool Fans's Ruben Wilza got control of the ball when Juan Torrent tried to sneak it across the goal line. Liverpool Fans's Ruben Wilza proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 78th minute of the match, managed to save Liverpool Fans from getting a goal against them. Legimin Sagala hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match.
