With a little luck, F.C CLUJ MEDICINA's Iacob Povară got control of the ball when Günther Doty tried to sneak it across the goal line. Chinese CJ Youth Academy were awarded a corner in the 8th minute after F.C CLUJ MEDICINA's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Luan Pombo took the corner. After taking down the ball on Chinese CJ Youth Academy's corner Luan Pombo fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Iacob Povară quite easily take care of the ball. In the 10th minute, Ilie Danciu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some careless play in the F.C CLUJ MEDICINA defense, Günther Doty kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Iacob Povară. The F.C CLUJ MEDICINA fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Iacob Povară should have stopped the shot. In the 13th minute Silviu Latarețu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but David Abad saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. F.C CLUJ MEDICINA's Iacob Povară played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Günther Doty in the 15th minute of play. Luca Pancu kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Luan Pombo got free with Iacob Povară in the 19th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 20th minute Günther Doty shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Iacob Povară saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Iacob Povară made an important save on a dangerous shot by Günther Doty in the 23rd minute. After some careless play in the F.C CLUJ MEDICINA defense, Günther Doty kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Iacob Povară. The F.C CLUJ MEDICINA fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Iacob Povară should have stopped the shot. In the 32nd minute, Günther Doty got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. David Abad took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Silviu Latarețu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alfonso Nastasio made in the 35th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Sorin Cupșa. In the 37th minute Silviu Latarețu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but David Abad saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

In the 52ndth minute of the game Iosif Găman who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Chinese CJ Youth Academy's David Abad was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Xu Yong Feng made in the 56th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Long Xiang Yuan. 57 minutes into the match, Chinese CJ Youth Academy's Günther Doty sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Iacob Povară narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 58 minutes into the match, Chinese CJ Youth Academy's goalkeeper David Abad had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Silviu Latarețu. Iacob Povară took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Günther Doty, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Günther Doty might have been able to make a better finish in the 66th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Iacob Povară. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Günther Doty ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Günther Doty in the 66th minute of play forced F.C CLUJ MEDICINA's goalkeeper Iacob Povară to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Luan Pombo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Günther Doty recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 77th minute the ball was on its way in behind Chinese CJ Youth Academy's goalkeeper David Abad, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. F.C CLUJ MEDICINA's Iacob Povară played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Günther Doty in the 78th minute of play. Iacob Povară made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Günther Doty in the 83rd minute of play. In the 90thth minute of the game Günther Doty who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but F.C CLUJ MEDICINA's Iacob Povară was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Francisc Ciocoiu who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 92ndth minute tested the skills of David Abad when he managed to save the team from getting behind. David Abad made a fantastic save in the 95th minute, when Francisc Ciocoiu sent off a good shot on target.

Chinese CJ Youth Academy's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
