Cascade Park West's supporters crossed their fingers, but Claude Joyner was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Danilo Vaz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rolland Hobbs in the 17th minute of play. If Waldo Renteria had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Waldo Renteria fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Danilo Vaz having to interfere. Greenboys FC's Danilo Vaz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Amir Lee in the 32nd minute of play. After 34 minutes, Claude Joyner made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. Greenboys FC's Danilo Vaz tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. When the match had gone on for 39 minutes, Waldo Renteria took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Danilo Vaz to make any attempt to save it. In the 46th minute, Claude Joyner ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Danilo Vaz was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Danilo Vaz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Claude Joyner in the 54th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Claude Joyner's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Danilo Vaz was relentless in the 55th minute of the game. After a rather tough play, Cascade Park West's Allen Dalton got a free kick in the 59th minute. Danilo Vaz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Claude Joyner, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. Cascade Park West's Waldo Renteria got a good chance for a goal in the 67th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a little luck, Cascade Park West's Dario Wilhelm got control of the ball when Felix Paveliuc tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 71st match minute, Greenboys FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Renátó Tar to maneuver through the defense. In the 72nd minute, Renátó Tar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Danilo Vaz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Waldo Renteria in the 82nd minute of the match. In the 84th minute, Amir Lee left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Cascade Park West fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. Cascade Park West's Chad Busby was substituted for Zoilo Doblas. A collision led to Greenboys FC getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Péter Földes hit a great ball. Greenboys FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
