Lα Sυв 21's Ernesto Merexildo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mikolaj Lech in the 32nd minute of play. When Guido Bartolome came up free with the goalie in the 34th minute, the Lα Sυв 21 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Guido Bartolome couldn't finish the play. In the 37th minute Michel Batistuta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ernesto Merexildo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 39th minute the ball was on its way in behind STAL ST WOLA's goalkeeper Roman Matai, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When the match had gone on for 40 minutes, Guido Bartolome took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Roman Matai to make any attempt to save it.

Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Severiano Enekoitz in the 51st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Roman Matai prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ernesto Merexildo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Michel Batistuta in the 53rd minute of the match. Ernesto Merexildo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zygmunt Bielejewski in the 55th minute of play. In the 57th minute of the match, Zygmunt Bielejewski tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Ernesto Merexildo saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 92nd match minute, STAL ST WOLA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Damian Hodas to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Patryk Glogowski in the 94th minute of play forced Lα Sυв 21's goalkeeper Ernesto Merexildo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fulgencio Bidari fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roman Matai having to interfere. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
