An unexpectedly hard shot by Severiano Enekoitz in the 17th minute of play forced Abandon All Hope's goalkeeper Meng Yan Jing to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 21st minute, one of Abandon All Hope:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Abandon All Hope. 21 minutes into the match, Guido Bartolome had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Meng Yan Jing. Abandon All Hope's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Guido Bartolome was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. 27 minutes into the match, Severiano Enekoitz notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Abandon All Hope's Meng Yan Jing. Meng Yan Jing was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Meng Yan Jing made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Severiano Enekoitz in the 32nd minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Michal Arendarski in the 45th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ernesto Merexildo saved Lα Sυв 21 from getting behind. Niceto Iigo hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. Abandon All Hope's Jiang Sang Qing got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Michal Arendarski stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Ernesto Merexildo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Michal Arendarski, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. Meng Yan Jing stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Severiano Enekoitz's shot from short distance in the 53rd minute. Meng Yan Jing made a fantastic save in the 76th minute, when Fulgencio Bidari sent off a good shot on target.
