Bahrtys Talanger's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Kopparmora BK the free kick. Bahrtys Talanger's Alfons Lövgren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Antonio Vitin in the 31st minute of play. A throw-in in the 35th minute of the game was made by Constantino Urre with Sebastião De Angelis as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. In the 36th match minute, Kopparmora BK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Egil Lundblad to maneuver through the defense. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Mustafa Ali Tunçaslan hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. Stig-Arne Dahlberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fabian Hermansson in the 57th minute of play. After having played for 69 minutes, Sebastião De Angelis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kopparmora BK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sebastião De Angelis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
