Saturnino Sanduru didn't get a good kick on the ball. After recieving a nice pass, Honduras's Edmundo Espiga tried to score from far away in the 6th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. The throw-in from Ariel Olayo in the 15th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Honduras's Luca Espinar. Grigoriy Pakhomov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edmundo Espiga in the 17th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 19 minutes, Ermegildo Estefan took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Lautaro Navarro to make any attempt to save it. After some fancy dribbling in the 25th minute, Víctor Javier í Lon Jacobsen managed to get in a good position for a shot. Camps AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Víctor Javier í Lon Jacobsen was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lautaro Navarro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Camps AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Honduras the free kick. Víctor Javier í Lon Jacobsen could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 42nd minute of the match, but Lautaro Navarro made a huge save. Lautaro Navarro was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 44th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Víctor Javier í Lon Jacobsen. Ermegildo Estefan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Lautaro Navarro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Edmundo Espiga made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Braulio Faron in the 51st minute of play forced Honduras's goalkeeper Lautaro Navarro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Sebastian Villa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Honduras were furious when Milagros Cabal was red carded, 96 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 95th minute of the game. One of Honduras:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Camps AFC:s goal. Enrique Mariano Hrabina walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post.
