An unexpectedly hard shot by Mikael Ståhlberg in the 18th minute of play forced Panama's goalkeeper Marcos Cotilla to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With an all-out effort, Almaröds FF's Marcos Cotilla threw himself towards the right post 19 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Mikael Åström, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Felipe Ros during the 22nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The audience was convinced that Isidoro Sarmiento's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tytus Wyrzykowski was relentless in the 26th minute of the game. Tytus Wyrzykowski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Miguel Miralles in the 43rd minute of the match. 45 minutes into the match, Panama's goal looked a bit too open when Mikael Ståhlberg came free, but Marcos Cotilla reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 48 minutes, Jens-Erik Vennerström mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Almaröds FF and the Panama players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 48 played minutes Almaröds FF got a freekick which was hit by Jens-Erik Vennerström. In the 49th minute of the match Abraham Alguacil shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Tytus Wyrzykowski showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The wind increased when Mikael Ståhlberg made the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Almaröds FF getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Alvaro Cremonese hit a great ball. Tomas Berganza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Simon Thidén received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Marcos Cotilla tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jose Carita kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. Marcos Cotilla took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mikael Ståhlberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A nice corner shot did that Aleksander Hult got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Marcos Cotilla quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 80th minute Almaröds FF were awarded a corner. Aleksander Hult went to the cornerflag to take it. Marcos Cotilla stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mikael Ståhlberg's shot from short distance in the 89th minute. Mikael Åström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Marcos Cotilla tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tytus Wyrzykowski was out of position in the 96 minute of play, and Miguel Miralles capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Miguel Miralles really showed his touch with that goal: 0-2. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Panama walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
