Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Tomas Berganza kicked off to start the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Aaron Barrios during the 3rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 4 played minutes Panama got a freekick which was hit by Aaron Barrios. Marcos Cotilla came out of the goal in the 6th minute to try and stop a shot by Fc Otelul Galati's Alin Teodorescu. But to his dismay, Alin Teodorescu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Tomas Berganza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nicodim Iacobeanu having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Fc Otelul Galati's Hector Garin got a free kick in the 10th minute. A collision led to Panama getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Matthew Garrido hit a great ball. Florian Penc received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Marcos Cotilla came out and tried to block the shot, but Florian Penc slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 15th minute. Panama's Marcos Cotilla proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 18th minute of the match, managed to save Panama from getting a goal against them. Marcos Cotilla made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gorla Goretzka in the 23rd minute. In the 26th minute Tomas Berganza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nicodim Iacobeanu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Abraham Alguacil made a great header on Panama's corner, it was just that Fc Otelul Galati's Nicodim Iacobeanu managed to reach the ball for a save. The Fc Otelul Galati fans' excitement grew in the 29th match minute when Fc Otelul Galati's Gorla Goretzka looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Panama's defense didn't have a chance, in the 34th minute, when Florian Penc scored to the left of an out of position Marcos Cotilla, making the score, 4-0. Thanks to some nice moves Lars Schuster could shoot a difficult shot in the 37th minute, which Marcos Cotilla however easily saved by the left post. In the 37th minute, Matthew Garrido hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fc Otelul Galati's Nicodim Iacobeanu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomas Berganza in the 40th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Panama's zone, Florian Penc stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marcos Cotilla came out of the goal and Florian Penc tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 45 minutes, Gorla Goretzka managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fc Otelul Galati's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gorla Goretzka was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Marcos Cotilla took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gorla Goretzka, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gorla Goretzka stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Fc Otelul Galati's Florian Penc got a free kick in the 50th minute. Nicodim Iacobeanu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomas Berganza in the 54th minute of the match. Tomas Berganza recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Tomas Berganza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nicodim Iacobeanu having to interfere. Panama's Tomas Berganza got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 66th minute, Abraham Alguacil got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Tomas Berganza shot from long distance after 70 played minutes, a shot that Nicodim Iacobeanu with certain difficulty stopped from going in under the crossbar. In the 73rd minute Tomas Berganza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nicodim Iacobeanu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nicodim Iacobeanu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Isidoro Sarmiento in the 77th minute. In the 79th minute, Matthew Garrido hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 82nd minute, Ion Ailincai hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 84th match minute, Fc Otelul Galati was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lars Schuster to maneuver through the defense. Abraham Alguacil could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 91st minute of the match, but Nicodim Iacobeanu made a huge save.
