Cachaça FC:s Cássio da Silva showed great skill when he stopped Pompiliu Roşculeţ:s penalty. Volker Harm showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nicolae Siclovan, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. After 8 minutes, Frederico de Lima mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cachaça FC and the FC Hamburg players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 8th match minute, Cachaça FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Frederico de Lima to maneuver through the defense. Pompiliu Roşculeţ recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience was convinced that Natã Cardoso's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Volker Harm was relentless in the 76th minute of the game. The FC Hamburg fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. Cássio da Silva was a little too slow when Laurențiu Cinteză got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 95th minute. The score was now 1-3. The Cachaça FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. FC Hamburg were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
