In the 16th minute, one of FC Hamburg:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for FC Hamburg. COURO COME FCs' Volker Harm just managed to throw himself towards the right post in the 17thth minute after Geovani Coutinhos penalty, and stop a certain goal. Pompiliu Roşculeţ hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. In the 21st minute, Natanael Paranaense hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Léo Sampaio stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Hendrik Holletschek's shot from short distance in the 22nd minute. Léo Sampaio was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Frank Groth fell near the penalty area in the 47th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Laurențiu Cinteză to make the kick off.
