FMArgentina's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Xacintu Ribeiro was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ismael Bernad showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Xacintu Ribeiro blasted a shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ismael Bernad having to make a save. 17 minutes into the match, Atlético Bucaramanga's goal looked a bit too open when Cipriano Belarmo came free, but Patrik Øskan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Atlético Bucaramanga's Patrik Øskan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 18th minute of the match, managed to save Atlético Bucaramanga from getting a goal against them. A nice corner shot did that Humberto Cisco got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Patrik Øskan quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Xacintu Ribeiro kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 25th minute, Xacintu Ribeiro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Atlético Bucaramanga's supporters rose to their feet, but Xacintu Ribeiro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ismael Bernad breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ismael Bernad showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Xacintu Ribeiro, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. Bernd Rechmann made a great header on Atlético Bucaramanga's corner, it was just that FMArgentina's Ismael Bernad managed to reach the ball for a save. Patrik Øskan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cipriano Belarmo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The wind increased when Xacintu Ribeiro made the kick off in the second half. The corner led FMArgentina's Humberto Cisco to fire away a dangerous shot which Patrik Øskan despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The Atlético Bucaramanga supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Atlético Bucaramanga would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
