To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Christian Fonda charged in rather forcefully in the 15th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Christian Fonda the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Christian Fonda kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. After 17 minutes, Leon Dino mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Rondeau and the FC BARCELONA players grew even worse after the yellow card. Felix Cordarells short, quick shot in the 22ndth minute got Júnior Cardozo to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. With his leg Júnior Cardozo managed to avoid a goal in the 33rdth minute, when Rondeau's Felix Cordarell fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Patrick Domingues's late challenge caught a Rondeau's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Patrick Domingues helped the player get up and apologised. The audience thought a goal was coming when Felix Cordarell got free with Júnior Cardozo in the 48th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After the first half FC BARCELONA were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Felix Cordarell to make the kick off. Júnior Cardozo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Braulio Berdoi, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. In the 53rdth minute of the game Braulio Berdoi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC BARCELONA's Júnior Cardozo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Leon Dino got his second yellow card in the match during the 55th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. After a rather tough play, Rondeau's Leon Dino got a free kick in the 55th minute. Jairo Schmidt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Octavio Erlantz having to interfere. In the 57th minute, Jairo Schmidt hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 59 minutes into the game, Felix Cordarell was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Rondeau's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC BARCELONA the free kick. A collision led to Rondeau getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Felix Cordarell hit a great ball. Octavio Erlantz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Luizão Varela's shot from short distance in the 61st minute. Braulio Berdoi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Braulio Berdoi in the 66th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Júnior Cardozo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After some fancy dribbling in the 67th minute, Marcelo Santana managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rondeau's supporters rose to their feet, but Marcelo Santana was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Júnior Cardozo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 71st minute, Luizão Varela hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 86th minute of the match, Júlio Pena got a very nice opportunity to score, but Octavio Erlantz was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. 89 minutes into the match, Júlio Pena had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Octavio Erlantz. Rondeau's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Júlio Pena was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2.
