With an extended leg and a bit of luck Epifanio Laurendi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 14 minutes into the match, Los Hornos's goal looked a bit too open when Celedonio Fidensio came free, but Epifanio Laurendi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 25 de Abril Futbol Club's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Nemesio Bernat in the 15th minute. The corner ended in Nemesio Bernat almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Los Hornos's Epifanio Laurendi did a great save. Los Hornos's Arturo Ciano managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Emiliano Sandaili in the 19 minute of the game. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 20th minute of the game. One of 25 de Abril Futbol Club:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Los Hornos:s goal. 25 de Abril Futbol Club's defense didn't have a chance, in the 24th minute, when Aureliano Oroitz scored to the left of an out of position Maximo Mitxel, making the score, 1-0. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Celedonio Fidensio during the 26th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Celedonio Fidensio kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. A hard shot by Erubiel Quirze from long distance, 27 minutes into the match, got Maximo Mitxel's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. In the 29th minute, Aureliano Oroitz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Maximo Mitxel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aureliano Oroitz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 34 minutes into the game, Wilfredo Innocenzio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Los Hornos's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave 25 de Abril Futbol Club the free kick. After 34 played minutes Los Hornos got a freekick which was hit by Wilfredo Innocenzio. Epifanio Laurendi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Celedonio Fidensio in the 35th minute of the match. A collision led to 25 de Abril Futbol Club getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Celedonio Fidensio hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Los Hornos's Vinicio Christobal got a free kick in the 38th minute. In the 42nd minute, Celedonio Fidensio made a precise shot to the right of Epifanio Laurendi. Los Hornos's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Aureliano Oroitz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maximo Mitxel having to interfere.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Aureliano Oroitz stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Maximo Mitxel came out of the goal and Erubiel Quirze tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. During the 96th minute of the match Celedonio Fidensio completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Celedonio Fidensio a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After a rather tough play, 25 de Abril Futbol Club's Celedonio Fidensio got a free kick in the 97th minute. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
