A collision led to Rondeau getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Blas Caradaro hit a great ball. 7 minutes into the game, Emanuel Maurino cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Dacian Iurea was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. A collision led to Rondeau getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Candido Arias hit a great ball. After 12 played minutes, FC Berea's Gigi Ardeleanu shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Leonel Enetz came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in FC Berea reached it. 20 minutes into the match, Rondeau's goalkeeper Leonel Enetz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Horea Panaitoiu. Horea Panaitoiu kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. Constantino Unax made a great header on Rondeau's corner, it was just that FC Berea's Dacian Iurea managed to reach the ball for a save. After 31 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for FC Berea! Dacian Iurea came out of the goal in the 32nd minute to try and stop a shot by Rondeau's Constantino Unax. But to his dismay, Constantino Unax quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. After 35 minutes, Emanuel Maurino mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Rondeau and the FC Berea players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of FC Berea booed when Rondeau was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emanuel Maurino didn't get a good kick on the ball. Leonel Enetz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Horea Panaitoiu in the 38th minute. With his leg Leonel Enetz managed to avoid a goal in the 39thth minute, when FC Berea's Basarab Arotăriței fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. FC Berea's Gigi Ardeleanu shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 43rd minute of play. The shot was stopped by Leonel Enetz but with some difficulty. Leonel Enetz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Basarab Arotăriței in the 45th minute of play. Roberto Pancho kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. In the 50th minute of the match FC Berea got a corner. Rondeau's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Gigi Ardeleanu ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on FC Berea's corner Berea Avram fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Leonel Enetz quite easily take care of the ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The wind increased when Marcelo Santana made the kick off in the second half. Marcelo Santana sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, FC Berea's Edgar Panțâru got a free kick in the 55th minute. Rondeau's Leon Dino got a good chance for a goal in the 56th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 58th minute, Eric Dărmănescu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 60th match minute, FC Berea was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eric Dărmănescu to maneuver through the defense. Horea Panaitoiu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leonel Enetz having to interfere. In the 70th minute, Roberto Pancho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. FC Berea's Toader Buzoianu was substituted for Horea Panaitoiu. After 71 played minutes Rondeau got a freekick which was hit by Roberto Pancho. Rondeau's Leonel Enetz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Basarab Arotăriței in the 71st minute of play. In the 73rd minute FC Berea were awarded a corner. Liviu Mihaiu went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Liviu Mihaiu almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Rondeau's Leonel Enetz did a great save. After 83 played minutes FC Berea got a freekick which was hit by Adrian Hâldan. With 86 minutes on the clock, Berea Matei commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In the 86th match minute, FC Berea was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Berea Matei to maneuver through the defense. In the 89th match minute, FC Berea was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eric Dărmănescu to maneuver through the defense. Dacian Iurea showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emanuel Maurino, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Emanuel Maurino in the 92nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dacian Iurea saved FC Berea from getting behind. FC Berea's Dacian Iurea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Blas Caradaro in the 95th minute of play. In the 96th minute, Rondeau's Emanuel Maurino dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-3. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Rondeau eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
