Thanks to some nice moves Menderes Mertoğlu could shoot a difficult shot in the 3rd minute, which Tony Valadares however easily saved by the left post. After 4 minutes, André Luís Lira mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Club Athletico Paulistano and the Carno FK players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 4th match minute, Club Athletico Paulistano was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by André Luís Lira to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Club Athletico Paulistano booed when Carno FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Menderes Mertoğlu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Club Athletico Paulistano's Tony Valadares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Menderes Mertoğlu in the 10th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Club Athletico Paulistano's Percy Cearense got a free kick in the 11th minute. Menderes Mertoğlu blasted a shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Tony Valadares having to make a save. Tony Valadares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tolunay Tandan in the 13th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Club Athletico Paulistano's Percy Cearense got a free kick in the 13th minute. Tony Valadares made an important save on a dangerous shot by Menderes Mertoğlu in the 19th minute. In the 20th minute, Fabrício de Alcântara hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some careless play in the Club Athletico Paulistano defense, Menderes Mertoğlu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tony Valadares. The Club Athletico Paulistano fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tony Valadares should have stopped the shot. Menderes Mertoğlu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Aziz Safih had several of the Club Athletico Paulistano's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 37 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 2-0 score and a disappointed Tony Valadares as he didn't even see the shot coming. When Alişan Suer came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the Carno FK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alişan Suer couldn't finish the play. The crowd rose to their feet as Alişan Suer kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Tony Valadares. That made the score 3-0 in the 43 minute of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tolunay Tandan to strike the kick off in the second half. Tolunay Tandan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alişan Suer in the 59th minute of play forced Club Athletico Paulistano's goalkeeper Tony Valadares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Club Athletico Paulistano's Tony Valadares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tolunay Tandan in the 61st minute of play. Doriva Pinheiro hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. A collision led to Club Athletico Paulistano getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Doriva Pinheiro hit a great ball. Tony Valadares took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tolunay Tandan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 75th match minute, Club Athletico Paulistano was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fabrício de Alcântara to maneuver through the defense. In the 76th minute of the match Aziz Safih sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Tony Valadares skillfully saved the ball. In the 82nd minute, Oséas Quintal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tony Valadares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Menderes Mertoğlu, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. 85 minutes into the game, Tolunay Tandan cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-0. Tony Valadares was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 89 minutes of play, Carno FK's Menderes Mertoğlu made it 7-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tony Valadares was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Carno FK's Sebati Ergün in the 92nd minute got a chance for a shot 92nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Club Athletico Paulistano's goalie prevented a goal. When the match clock showed 94 minutes, the score became 8-0 when Tolunay Tandan sped through Club Athletico Paulistano's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Tony Valadares. 97 minutes into the match, Club Athletico Paulistano's goal looked a bit too open when Tolunay Tandan came free, but Tony Valadares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
