The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Leão STAND BY FSCMZ's Augusto Dracena got a good chance for a goal in the 8th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Mariano Balesio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Augusto Dracena, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. Mariano Balesio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Denílson Queirós, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 15 played minutes Leão STAND BY FSCMZ got a freekick which was hit by Augusto Dracena. In the 16th minute, Marcos Maria got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 16 minutes into the game, Marcos Maria was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. ATLETICO TOSODELMA's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Leão STAND BY FSCMZ the free kick. Augusto Dracena received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Mariano Balesio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Denílson Queirós might have been able to make a better finish in the 25th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Mariano Balesio. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Denílson Queirós ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Augusto Dracena in the 28th minute of play forced ATLETICO TOSODELMA's goalkeeper Mariano Balesio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Leão STAND BY FSCMZ's Augusto Dracena got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Augusto Dracena scored 0-2 in the 82nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Mariano Balesio, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Augusto Dracena could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 87th minute of the match, but Mariano Balesio made a huge save. Jânio Britto charged in rather forcefully in the 91st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jânio Britto the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. When Matias Gervaso came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the ATLETICO TOSODELMA fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Matias Gervaso couldn't finish the play. Leão STAND BY FSCMZ's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
