Afonsinho de Godoi hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hélio Quirino in the 9th minute of play forced Green Hell F.C.'s goalkeeper Konstantinos Kapetanos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 12 minutes into the match, Hélio Quirino notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Green Hell F.C.'s Konstantinos Kapetanos. Konstantinos Kapetanos was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The supporters of FC BARCELONA booed when Green Hell F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kostas Mavromatakis didn't get a good kick on the ball. Konstantinos Kapetanos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ademir Amaral in the 17th minute of the match. Alaa G. Hansen who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 19thth minute tested the skills of Júnior Cardozo when he managed to save the team from getting behind. If Afonsinho de Godoi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ademir Amaral scored 0-2 in the 25th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Konstantinos Kapetanos, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Diogenis Kosmidis in the 29th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Júnior Cardozo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Green Hell F.C.'s Konstantinos Kapetanos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ademir Amaral in the 33rd minute of play. Alaa G. Hansen could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 43rd minute of the match, but Júnior Cardozo made a huge save. In the 44th match minute, FC BARCELONA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marquinhos Severo to maneuver through the defense. Marquinhos Severo kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Hélio Quirino to make the kick off. Júnior Cardozo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alaa G. Hansen's shot from short distance in the 53rd minute. In the 54th minute Diogenis Kosmidis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Júnior Cardozo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Green Hell F.C.'s Alaa G. Hansen got a good chance for a goal in the 55th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 61 minutes into the match, Alaa G. Hansen had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Júnior Cardozo. FC BARCELONA's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alaa G. Hansen was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. Júnior Cardozo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alaa G. Hansen, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. Júnior Cardozo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Minas Seremeglis in the 67th minute of play. In the 68th minute, FC BARCELONA's Afonsinho de Godoi dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-4. Green Hell F.C.'s Konstantinos Kapetanos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hélio Quirino in the 71st minute of play. In the 73rd match minute, Green Hell F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vlassis Tsoulidis to maneuver through the defense. In the 76th minute, Kostas Mavromatakis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Júnior Cardozo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alaa G. Hansen in the 80th minute of play. After a rather tough play, FC BARCELONA's Serafim de Moraes got a free kick in the 82nd minute. Hélio Quirino scored 1-5 in the 85th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Konstantinos Kapetanos, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Júnior Cardozo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Alaa G. Hansen went, in the 94th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-5 was the resulting score. FC BARCELONA played a much better game than Green Hell F.C. and deserved their victory. The Green Hell F.C. players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
