A collision led to FC BARCELONA getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Afonsinho de Godoi hit a great ball. Júnior Cardozo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Basarab Arotăriței, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. After 20th play minutes Basarab Arotăriței shot 0-1, a short shot which went by Júnior Cardozo and just under the crossbar into goal. The corner led FC Berea's Basarab Arotăriței to fire away a dangerous shot which Júnior Cardozo despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The supporters of FC Berea booed when FC BARCELONA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Afonsinho de Godoi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Júnior Cardozo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Basarab Arotăriței's shot from short distance in the 47th minute. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Basarab Arotăriței stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52ndth minute of the game Basarab Arotăriței who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC BARCELONA's Júnior Cardozo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball.
