In the 3rd minute Xalo Canyelles shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Taco Zwartkruis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 5th match minute, Julias Rascals Apeldoorn was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ferdi van der Struijk to maneuver through the defense. In the 11th minute of the game Gert Warneke made a throw-in which Mathijs Stroobos played forward. After some fancy dribbling in the 14th minute, Ponce Montiel managed to get in a good position for a shot. !Pabellon Ourense C.F.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Ponce Montiel was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Taco Zwartkruis breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Crispo Canyelles hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. In the 18th minute, Julian Kool hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 19th minute, !Pabellon Ourense C.F.'s Ponce Montiel ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Taco Zwartkruis. Taco Zwartkruis yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Ferdi van der Struijk took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 29th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Asier Talavera. !Pabellon Ourense C.F.'s goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 31st minute, Erik Roelfs made a precise shot to the right of Asier Talavera. !Pabellon Ourense C.F.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. In the 34th minute the ball was on its way in behind Julias Rascals Apeldoorn's goalkeeper Taco Zwartkruis, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 45 minutes into the match, !Pabellon Ourense C.F.'s goal looked a bit too open when Govert Kool came free, but Asier Talavera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Govert Kool to make the kick off. Taco Zwartkruis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Xalo Canyelles in the 60th minute of play. 63 minutes into the match, !Pabellon Ourense C.F.'s Ponce Montiel sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Taco Zwartkruis narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 64 minutes into the game, Jacob Scheerhoorn was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Julias Rascals Apeldoorn's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave !Pabellon Ourense C.F. the free kick. A collision led to Julias Rascals Apeldoorn getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Jacob Scheerhoorn hit a great ball. Frederik Craandijk received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Asier Talavera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With 74 minutes on the clock, Julian Kool commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. The audience held their breath when Peio Saavedra in the 76th minute of the game managed to trick the opponents defenses and fired away a shot outside the goal on the Taco Zwartkruis's left hand side. Asier Talavera made a fantastic save in the 84th minute, when Govert Kool sent off a good shot on target. 89 minutes into the match, Julias Rascals Apeldoorn's goal looked a bit too open when Ponce Montiel came free, but Taco Zwartkruis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Govert Kools short, quick shot in the 90thth minute got Asier Talavera to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After 93 played minutes !Pabellon Ourense C.F. got a freekick which was hit by Bela Rojas. After a defensive mix-up in !Pabellon Ourense C.F.'s zone, Govert Kool stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Asier Talavera came out of the goal and Govert Kool tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
