But to his dismay, Bastian Ytterstad quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Olav Øverby showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Baldomero Castillo, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. Murcia Promesas's Aya Riells played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bastian Ytterstad in the 17th minute of play. 19 minutes into the match, Brufoss IL's goal looked a bit too open when Baldomero Castillo came free, but Olav Øverby reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Murcia Promesas booed when Brufoss IL was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bastian Ytterstad didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 25th minute, Bastian Ytterstad made a precise shot to the right of Aya Riells. Murcia Promesas's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Bastian Ytterstad blasted a shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Aya Riells having to make a save. Tore Fagermo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The Brufoss IL fans' excitement grew in the 30th match minute when Brufoss IL's Bastian Ytterstad looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Egoitz Santiago hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. 37 minutes into the game, Brufoss IL's Tor-Egil Arntsen nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Aya Riells made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. Aya Riells took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tor-Egil Arntsen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Aya Riells made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tor-Egil Arntsen in the 43rd minute of play. Murcia Promesas's Aya Riells played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tor-Egil Arntsen in the 47th minute of play. Disappointed in the 0-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Bastian Ytterstad made a kick off. Leif Mæhlum kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. Murcia Promesas's Aya Riells proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 57th minute of the match, managed to save Murcia Promesas from getting a goal against them. Kenneth Foldnes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Aya Riells tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Aya Riells showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tor-Egil Arntsen in the 67th minute of the match. After having played for 71 minutes, Seve Rojas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Murcia Promesas's supporters crossed their fingers, but Seve Rojas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Brufoss IL's Olav Øverby played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Baldomero Castillo in the 73rd minute of play.
