The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The referee felt a red card was in order, 6 minutes into the game, when Villagra Llorente put in a rough tackle. In the 6th minute, Villagra Llorente hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gustavo Cintron hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. After 9 played minutes Julias Rascals Apeldoorn got a freekick which was hit by Govert Kool. 12 minutes into the game, Florian Bogaard cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Urbes Cenzano was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After some fancy dribbling in the 17th minute, Gustavo Cintron managed to get in a good position for a shot. Club Puerto Quito's supporters rose to their feet, but Gustavo Cintron was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Taco Zwartkruis breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The crowd rose to their feet as Govert Kool kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Urbes Cenzano. That made the score 2-0 in the 18 minute of play. Florian Bogaard might have been able to make a better finish in the 21st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Urbes Cenzano. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Florian Bogaard ran back to his position shaking his head. Leonardo Carbonell hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. The supporters of Club Puerto Quito booed when Julias Rascals Apeldoorn was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rik Meijs didn't get a good kick on the ball. Iza Ramin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gustavo Cintron fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Taco Zwartkruis having to interfere. In the 33rd minute, Julias Rascals Apeldoorn's Rik Meijs dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-0. Ferdi van der Struijk hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. Leonardo Carbonell recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 45 played minutes Club Puerto Quito got a freekick which was hit by Pepito Plasencia.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gustavo Cintron to strike the kick off in the second half. Julias Rascals Apeldoorn's Taco Zwartkruis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Iza Ramin in the 53rd minute of play. In the 59th minute Florian Bogaard shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Urbes Cenzano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Urbes Cenzano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Govert Kool, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. Club Puerto Quito's Zornin Morentin got a good chance for a goal in the 66th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some careless play in the Club Puerto Quito defense, Florian Bogaard kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Urbes Cenzano. The Club Puerto Quito fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Urbes Cenzano should have stopped the shot. Kees Mussies charged in rather forcefully in the 72nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Kees Mussies the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 72nd minute, Kees Mussies hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Club Puerto Quito's Leonardo Carbonell took a good shot, in the 73rd minute, which hit the crossbar above Taco Zwartkruis's head, and flew over the goal. Julias Rascals Apeldoorn's manager was very thankful on the sidelines as his team had managed to keep the ball out of the net after some serious pressure by Club Puerto Quito. 77 minutes into the match, Govert Kool had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Urbes Cenzano. Club Puerto Quito's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Govert Kool was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. Iza Ramin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Leonardo Carbonell during the 86th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 86 played minutes Club Puerto Quito got a freekick which was hit by Leonardo Carbonell. Urbes Cenzano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Florian Bogaard, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. In the 96th minute, Florian Bogaard made a precise shot to the right of Urbes Cenzano. Club Puerto Quito's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-0. Many of Club Puerto Quito's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Club Puerto Quito may have spent more time on the ball, but Julias Rascals Apeldoorn were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
