A collision led to Murcia Promesas getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Mauricio Bouzon hit a great ball. Luis María Rodriguez could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 21st minute of the match, but Hermelando Sevilla made a huge save. Carlos Manuel Goyeneche showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Timo Palacios, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. 31 minutes into the game, Aldo Hitz cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Hermelando Sevilla was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Plebeyos's Carlos Manuel Goyeneche proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 55th minute of the match, managed to save Plebeyos from getting a goal against them. Murcia Promesas were furious when Antonio Erosa was red carded, 56 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. Licerio Lacorte recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Plebeyos had played much better football throughout.
