Vł₦ɆłⱤØ ₣₵'s Alfonso Quirce was substituted for Reynaldo Merexildo. Vł₦ɆłⱤØ ₣₵'s Jesus Eyague was substituted for Domingo Millano. After the first half Vł₦ɆłⱤØ ₣₵ were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Hernan Giraldo made the kick off in the second half. If Franco Milazzo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Club Puerto Quito's Urbes Cenzano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hernan Giraldo in the 55th minute of play. After having played for 59 minutes, Hernan Giraldo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vł₦ɆłⱤØ ₣₵'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Hernan Giraldo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 62 minutes into the match, Hernan Giraldo notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of Club Puerto Quito's Urbes Cenzano. Urbes Cenzano was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 1-4 became the score in the 68th minute when Franco Milazzo elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Club Puerto Quito's Suscal Carmenes got a free kick in the 74th minute. Hernan Giraldo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Franco Milazzo showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-6. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Vł₦ɆłⱤØ ₣₵ had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
