51 minutes into the game, Julias Rascals Apeldoorn's Govert Kool nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Olav Øverby made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. The audience was convinced that Bastian Ytterstad's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Taco Zwartkruis was relentless in the 79th minute of the game. Bastian Ytterstad did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 2-5 to the left of a surprised Taco Zwartkruis 80 minutes into the match. Bastian Ytterstad scored 2-7 in the 95th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Taco Zwartkruis, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.
