An unexpectedly hard shot by Lucrețiu Arotăriței in the 13th minute of play forced Nusaybin GençLikSpor's goalkeeper Levent Orkan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mădălin Bănățeanu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Levent Orkan read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 18th minute of play. Mevlüt Rahim hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lucrețiu Arotăriței in the 21st minute of play forced Nusaybin GençLikSpor's goalkeeper Levent Orkan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 22nd minute, Nusaybin GençLikSpor's Cevat Subutay ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Nae Morar. Nae Morar yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Nusaybin GençLikSpor's Levent Orkan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Octav Glăvan in the 26th minute of play. The supporters of ASF BAIA MARE -MM- booed when Nusaybin GençLikSpor was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Enis Behiç Cantürk didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 28th minute, Marian Răducu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some careless play in the Nusaybin GençLikSpor defense, Lucrețiu Arotăriței kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Levent Orkan. The Nusaybin GençLikSpor fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Levent Orkan should have stopped the shot. In the 45th match minute, Nusaybin GençLikSpor was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cevat Subutay to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Nusaybin GençLikSpor's zone, Radu Moldovan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Levent Orkan came out of the goal and Radu Moldovan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 48 minutes into the match, Octav Glăvan had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Levent Orkan. Nusaybin GençLikSpor's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Octav Glăvan was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-3 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Octav Glăvan made a kick off. Levent Orkan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lucrețiu Arotăriței in the 60th minute of play. Cevat Subutay struck a weak shot in the 61st minute. Nae Morar didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Nusaybin GençLikSpor. When Cevat Subutay fell near the penalty area in the 64th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Nusaybin GençLikSpor's protests and gave Cevat Subutay a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Nusaybin GençLikSpor getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Cevat Subutay hit a great ball. Nae Morar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Şanver Kurban in the 88th minute of play. Levent Orkan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mădălin Bănățeanu in the 95th minute of the match. When the match was over ASF BAIA MARE -MM- could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Nusaybin GençLikSpor throughout the match.
