After some careless play in the Mijdrecht Maffia defense, Jakob Pernambucano kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rik Numan. The Mijdrecht Maffia fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rik Numan should have stopped the shot. In the last second Esteban Aleson throw himself and got hold of the ball when Michael Kuijsten in the 16thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. The corner ended in Laurens Hollander almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Vanadio F.C.'s Esteban Aleson did a great save. Michael Curiel hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. 26 minutes into the match, Michael Kuijsten dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Esteban Aleson, 1-3. Jakob Pernambucano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rik Numan having to interfere. With 39 minutes on the clock, Mirco Vucevic commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In the 40th match minute, Vanadio F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mirco Vucevic to maneuver through the defense. Laurens Hollander, 41 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Vanadio F.C.'s Esteban Aleson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 43rd minute of the match, managed to save Vanadio F.C. from getting a goal against them. After 45 minutes Mijdrecht Maffia's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Feo Lluberas who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Vanadio F.C.'s Feo Lluberas to fire away a dangerous shot which Rik Numan despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Mijdrecht Maffia's Rik Numan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jakob Pernambucano in the 48th minute of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-4 lead.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Michael Kuijsten in the 52nd minute of play forced Vanadio F.C.'s goalkeeper Esteban Aleson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 53rd minute Christian Arratia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rik Numan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Esteban Aleson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Yuri Spanjer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 60 minutes into the match, Michael Kuijsten had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Esteban Aleson. Vanadio F.C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Michael Kuijsten was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-4. Esteban Aleson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcel Blanc, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 2-5 became the score in the 65th minute when Jakob Pernambucano elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Rik Numan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Christian Arratia in the 69th minute of play. When Mijdrecht Maffia's Marcel Blanc in the 70th minute got a chance for a shot 70th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Vanadio F.C.'s goalie prevented a goal. Jakob Pernambucano kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. After 77 played minutes Mijdrecht Maffia got a freekick which was hit by Stephan van Fessum. Feo Lluberas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 80 minutes into the game, Michael Kuijsten cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-5. Esteban Aleson was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Michael Kuijsten scored 4-5 in the 83rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Esteban Aleson, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 90th match minute, Mijdrecht Maffia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ernst Klooster to maneuver through the defense. In the 91st minute of the match Feo Lluberas sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Rik Numan skillfully saved the ball. Esteban Aleson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Michael Kuijsten, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. The Mijdrecht Maffia supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Vanadio F.C.'s performance. The match ended with a win for Vanadio F.C..
