The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Mickey Kass charged in rather forcefully in the 6th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mickey Kass the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Juoksengi getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Mickey Kass hit a great ball. Tommy Melin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vintilă Bădescu, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. FC Cosula-BTF-'s Ilie Brumaru proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 15th minute of the match, managed to save FC Cosula-BTF- from getting a goal against them. After a defensive mix-up in Juoksengi's zone, Olimpiu Teodorescu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tommy Melin came out of the goal and Olimpiu Teodorescu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 17 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Juoksengi! Juoksengi:s Tommy Melin showed great skill when he stopped Aurel Lăceanu:s penalty. In the 19th minute, Aurel Lăceanu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tommy Melin was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. 23 minutes into the match, Mickey Kass had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ilie Brumaru. FC Cosula-BTF-'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mickey Kass was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. A collision led to FC Cosula-BTF- getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Vintilă Bădescu hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vintilă Bădescu in the 32nd minute of play forced Juoksengi's goalkeeper Tommy Melin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 38 minutes of play, FC Cosula-BTF-'s Olimpiu Teodorescu made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tommy Melin was left in no man's land by his defense there! 43 minutes into the game, Okey Eye cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-3. Ilie Brumaru was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. A collision led to FC Cosula-BTF- getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Ciprian Gaiță hit a great ball. The Juoksengi players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. FC Cosula-BTF- were winning 2-3.

Olimpiu Teodorescu scored 2-4 in the 53rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Tommy Melin, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 59th minute Olimpiu Teodorescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tommy Melin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 63rdth minute of the game Olimpiu Teodorescu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Juoksengi's Tommy Melin was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. FC Cosula-BTF-'s Ilie Brumaru played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pangeran Pango in the 94th minute of play. The FC Cosula-BTF- supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing FC Cosula-BTF- would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
