The referee ignored Juoksengi's protests and gave Greger Nordin a yellow card for diving instead. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Svante Bröms stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Osman Tahir took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Paul Bock, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Umur Ökten hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. 95 minutes into the match, FC Montana's Arda Baybars Sarısaltuk sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tommy Melin narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Umur Ökten's late challenge caught a Juoksengi's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Umur Ökten helped the player get up and apologised. After 96 played minutes FC Montana got a freekick which was hit by Umur Ökten.
