After 5 minutes of play, ASF BAIA MARE -MM-'s Cătălin Octavian made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Volodya Variyski was left in no man's land by his defense there! When ASF BAIA MARE -MM-'s Cătălin Octavian in the 8th minute got a chance for a shot 8th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cătălin Octavian in the 24th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Volodya Variyski saved DOROSTOL Ss from getting behind. When the match had gone on for 29 minutes, Dragolyub Dudekov took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Nae Morar to make any attempt to save it. The supporters of ASF BAIA MARE -MM- booed when DOROSTOL Ss was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vihren Tzintzarov didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, DOROSTOL Ss's Toshko Gúrnev got a free kick in the 36th minute. Radu Moldovan struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. Volodya Variyski didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ASF BAIA MARE -MM-. A collision led to DOROSTOL Ss getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Toshko Gúrnev hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cătălin Octavian in the 41st minute of play forced DOROSTOL Ss's goalkeeper Volodya Variyski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hristiyan Dakev sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Dragolyub Dudekov was the one to do the kick off. Cătălin Octavian who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 52ndth minute tested the skills of Volodya Variyski when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Mădălin Bănățeanu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, DOROSTOL Ss's Toshko Gúrnev got a free kick in the 55th minute. If Mădălin Bănățeanu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The supporters of ASF BAIA MARE -MM- booed when DOROSTOL Ss was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ognyan Elmazov didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 69th minute Cătălin Octavian shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Volodya Variyski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nae Morar was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 82 played minutes ASF BAIA MARE -MM- got a freekick which was hit by Lucrețiu Arotăriței. 85 minutes into the game, DOROSTOL Ss's Dragolyub Dudekov nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Nae Morar made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. Mădălin Bănățeanu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Volodya Variyski having to interfere. Cătălin Octavian received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Volodya Variyski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The DOROSTOL Ss fans cheered their team off the field, for while ASF BAIA MARE -MM- had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
