Spectators: 42 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Michael Kuijsten started the match with the kick off. Laurens Hollander kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. Esteban Aleson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gertjan Theisens, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. Montrell Sojo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rik Numan read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 12th minute of play. In the 15th match minute, Mijdrecht Maffia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marcel Blanc to maneuver through the defense. In the 17th minute, Vanadio F.C.'s Montrell Sojo dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lorencio Erosa in the 21st minute of play forced Mijdrecht Maffia's goalkeeper Rik Numan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lorencio Erosa in the 23rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rik Numan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Montrell Sojo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 26th minute of the match, but Rik Numan made a huge save. 28 minutes into the game, Gertjan Theisens was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Mijdrecht Maffia's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Vanadio F.C. the free kick. Rik Numan came out of the goal in the 31st minute to try and stop a shot by Vanadio F.C.'s Montrell Sojo. But to his dismay, Montrell Sojo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Mijdrecht Maffia's Rik Numan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 33rd minute of the match, managed to save Mijdrecht Maffia from getting a goal against them. In the 43rd minute Michael Kuijsten shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Esteban Aleson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Michael Kuijsten scored 2-1 in the 46th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Esteban Aleson, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Montrell Sojo was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Montrell Sojo in the 52nd minute of play forced Mijdrecht Maffia's goalkeeper Rik Numan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Esteban Aleson made a fantastic save in the 56th minute, when Michael Kuijsten sent off a good shot on target. After 63 minutes of play, Vanadio F.C.'s Jakob Pernambucano made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rik Numan was left in no man's land by his defense there! Asteri Reganado hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. Mijdrecht Maffia's Laurens Hollander couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 69th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Vanadio F.C.. Thanks to some nice moves Michael Kuijsten could shoot a difficult shot in the 71st minute, which Esteban Aleson however easily saved by the left post. Esteban Aleson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Michael Kuijsten, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. Esteban Aleson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Michael Kuijsten, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 79 minutes into the match, Vanadio F.C.'s goalkeeper Esteban Aleson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Michael Kuijsten. Vanadio F.C. made a substitution. Christian Arratia replaced Lorencio Erosa. 87 minutes into the match, Mijdrecht Maffia's goal looked a bit too open when Montrell Sojo came free, but Rik Numan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With 90 minutes on the clock, Feo Lluberas commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. After 89 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Vanadio F.C.! In the 96th minute, Jakob Pernambucano got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Vanadio F.C. were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Mijdrecht Maffia for a fine match.
